Dr. Yeomans was born here in Central Florida at Winter Park hospital and grew up going to Edgewater high school where he was captain of the baseball team and homecoming king. After an injury pitching, he took an interest in Chiropractic and decided on that path for future studies. The Florida Gators have always had his heart, so he headed to Gainesville to study Biology for his undergraduate degree. After college, he moved to Washington DC and worked at Georgetown University and the National Institute of Health as a cancer researcher. His passion for helping people led him to Life University for his Doctor of Chiropractic degree and then back home to Orlando, FL where he has practiced for the past 20 years. His background in research and the desire for a more integrated approach of healing for his patients brought him to open his first medically integrated practice in 2013. His passion to give Central Florida viable non-surgical options keeps him fulfilled and a strong desire to expand. Dr. Yeomans started Phoenix Integrated Medical Institute not only as a metaphor for his life and rebirth in his practice but also as a symbolism for how he wants his patients to feel- rising above the pain and restoring movement with empowerment and healing.
Dr. Yeomans enjoys going to Gator games on the weekend with his family, playing golf, and spending time with his family and friends. He lives in Winter Park with his wife Adrienne, daughter Isla, and two sons Kayden and Ryder. They love playing with their dog, Jericho.
Dr. Mitchell F. Gaj is originally from New Bedford, Massachusetts, initially earned a B.S. degree in textiles at Southeastern Mass University (presently the University of Massachusetts- North Dartmouth). He followed this with a M.S. degree at the Institute of Textile Technology in Charlottesville, Virginia. After working in the textile industry for a few years, he decided to make a change and follow the path towards a chiropractic degree.
He attended Clemson University for a year and then moved to Illinois. He received his BS degree in Biology and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois. After completing an internship in Chicago, he moved to Florida to be with his future wife.
After spending many years as part of the Exum Chiropractic Clinic team, Dr. Gaj is pleased to be a part of the health team at Phoenix Integrated Medical. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, music, his New England sport teams, and especially spending time with family and his beautiful granddaughter, Violet.
Born and raised in the Orlando area, Jezlyn achieved her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Central Florida, and her Master of Science degree in Nursing from AdventHealth University in Orlando, Florida. She has earned board certification as a family nurse practitioner from both the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She has a wide range of experience including women’s health, pediatric and family care, aesthetic medicine, and home health. She is passionate about integrative medicine, patient education, and providing excellent care.
In her free time Jezlyn enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and playing with her four dogs.
Paula is a licensed Massage Therapist who has been practicing for over 36 years. In fact, her entire career has been within the Chiropractic community. Collaborating with Chiropractors has also taught me ways to treat various conditions without the use of medications.
Paula was born in Buffalo New York and as you would imagine, she is a huge Buffalo Bills fan!! (Go Bills) Paula is the youngest of 5 children and after graduating from Boone High School, Paula went directly to Massage School and started her career. She is an active member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
Paula has been married to her husband Evan for 36 years. In her free time Paula loves spending time with her family and close friends, but especially her granddaughters Alexandra and Madison. Paula also enjoys golfing and is a member of the LPGA Amatures Golf Club of Orlando and Paula also loves her time at the beach or just home cuddling with her dog Lola.
